Abortion Pill Information
We provide info on medical abortions, first-trimester options, and free limited obstetric ultrasounds.
What is the abortion pill?
The abortion pill is two drugs and it is taken in two separate doses at two different times. Other names for the abortion pill are medication, medical, chemical or at-home abortion. It is not the same as emergency contraception.
How does it work? When is it taken?
The abortion pill is FDA-approved up through 10 weeks after a woman's last menstrual period. The abortion pill is not an option for people with certain medical conditions, if the pregnancy is not viable, or if the pregnancy occurs outside of the uterus.
